Dear Players,

The Pipes and Drums of Basel and their friends are looking forward to welcoming you from all over the world. We are working hard to be ready for the most outstanding and unforgettable piping event in the heart of Europe.

Basel Region is situated on the border triangle of Germany, France and Switzerland and is surrounded by the hills of the Black Forest, Vosges and Jura. A strong affinity with Scotland and its music has grown amongst the nearly one million German or French speaking inhabitants.

There are several Pipe Bands based in the area and the ancient City of Basel is home to the famous Basel Tattoo, the world's second largest openair Tattoo. Registration is now open and within a few months we will be able to offer different packages for an advantageous stay in Basel, perhaps including a visit to the Basel Tattoo.
