POZNAN…. Welcome To Pipefest Poznan, The Capital of Wielkopolska Region accessible by Road, Rail & Flights into Poznan-Lawica Airport, especially from U.K. & Europe.
Poznan, a beautiful city rich in history along with its Academy of 20 plus Educational Institutions. An interesting city break especially on the Music scene with Theatre Festivals, Violin Making, Choirs, Orchestras, Polish Bagpipes, Dance & many workshops of local culture in music and beyond.
The main attractions of the City are centered around Stary Rynek (The Old Market Square) especially such attrations as “The Museum of Musical Instruments” which is Poland’s only Museum of this type. The Museum holds a collection of 2000 items along with many other Instruments.
There is great walking space to view attractions such as Mickiewicz Square, the Zamek, Franciscan Church, the National Museum & Renaissance Hall,the beautiful Malta Lake and Citadel Park, the Old & New Zoo, along with the Botanical Gardens.
